Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) are conducted to identify specific behaviors that impede on the student’s ability to learn while understanding why he/she engages in these behaviors. Data is collected both directly through observations and indirectly through interviews and questionnaires to ensure valid insight of every aspect of the student’s behavior(s). Based on the result of these assessments, a behavior intervention plan is created, specifically for your child. Various evidence-based strategies are implemented to support your child through challenging behaviors while teaching them functional replacement behaviors to overcome the behavioral barriers they struggle with.
If your child displays problematic behaviors that affect their ability to learn, schedule an appointment with us to best determine the appropriate plan of action for them. If you have other concerns or queries, you may also contact us here.
